Very rare side effects include potentially serious side effects, especially if they happen 3-4 times a day. If this side effect does occur, or if it seems to be increasing, you should seek immediate medical attention. A few uncommon, serious, or occasionally rare side effects have been reported. Frequent reports of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome have been reported in patients using Lamisil Cream. Some of these patients had underlying health conditions such as lupus. Other serious reports of lupus have been seen in patients who were taking other products containing terbinafine. A very serious allergic reaction to any medicine contained in your medicine is rare. However, reaction times may be time-dependent. Common symptoms include hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. If you notice any rash, itching, or swelling of the face or mouth, seek medical attention immediately. A few serious side effects which may occur when using Lamisil Cream are observed. Some serious side effects which may appear when using this cream are also observed when using other topical medications containing terbinafine. These medicines may be associated with severe reactions on rare occasions. Therefore, you should not stop using Lamisil Cream unless advised to by a doctor.
